French fashion house Cacharel will not show at Paris Fashion Week in February after last year bringing its design back in house.
The label said it would instead hold showroom presentations for its womenwear autumn pre-collection and its kidswear and menswear lines in January.
This follows on from news in November that Cacharel had ended its licensing agreement with Italian manufacturer Aeffe.
The mutual decision meant the spring 13 collection was the last to be produced by Aeffe and all design, sales and advertising for the brand has been brought back in house.
The French fashion house has also re-structured, changing the name of its collections to Cacharel Paris from autumn 13. Additionally Cacharel’s price points have come down from designer prices to those of a contemporary brand.
This is not the first time Cacharel has pulled out of Paris Fashion Week. In March 2009 the label cancelled its show due to the departure of its creative directors and an unstable economy.
