Cad & the Dandy to dress men at second royal wedding this year

London tailoring business Cad & the Dandy is to dress the groom and groomsmen at the second royal wedding of the year.

Rugby player Mike Tindall will marry Zara Philips daughter of Princess Ann in Edinburgh on July 30 in a suit from Cad and the Dandy.

Co-founder James Sleater said: “It is going to be an elegant affair just like William and Kate’s wedding earlier this year. We’ll make sure Mike cuts a dashing figure in front of all his new royal relations.

“The wedding party are all wearing a classic morning suit made from a black barathea cloth made in Huddersfield. The trousers will have a slightly lighter stripe than is traditional, making them a little more up to date. Waistcoats will either be buff coloured or dove grey – a final decision has yet to be taken dependent on the colour chosen for the bridesmaids dresses. Shoes will be classic Oxfords.”

Cad & the Dandy has stores in Savile Row, Canary Wharf and the City.
