Calvin Klein poaches former Saint Laurent director

Calvin Klein has appointed Leonardo Minerva as chief operating officer for the its Collection range and Italian division.

Minerva will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Milan and Trento offices. He will also manage the manufacturing, sourcing, product development and vendor relationships for Calvin Klein Collection worldwide, including the brand’s atelier in New York and the retail outlet business in Europe.

Minerva was most recently director of industrial strategy at Saint Laurent in Paris, where he oversaw all activities of the business’s global supply chain since March 2008.

Prior to that he was industrial logistics director at Fendi for six years.
