Canadian outerwear brand Canada Goose is opening its first UK sales office, just off London’s Oxford Street.
The new London base will house the European marketing and UK and Ireland sales teams. The showroom will carry the full collection of Outdoor Performance, Branta, and Youth, Kids and Baby collections.
The label, which was profiled by Drapers last week, said the new office was “testament to Canada Goose’s commitment in Europe and recognition of the company’s rapid growth across the UK”.
Sales in the country were up more than 200% last year. Global revenues are more than C$150m (£81.5m).
In the past five years, Canada Goose has opened European offices in Sweden, Germany, and Finland. President and chief executive Dani Reiss said: “We went against the grain many years ago by choosing to invest in manufacturing at home, because it was – and is – the right thing to do. We’re driven to produce the best luxury performance outerwear that’s made where it should be, and that’s what consumers are responding to.”
