Caren Downie exits Finery London

Finery co-founder Caren Downie has stepped down from her role as brand director.

The firm said Downie was “instrumental” in bringing it to market and overseeing its rapid growth over the last two years since its launch in 2015.

Downie, who was previously fashion director of Asos and buying director of Topshop, said: “It has been an absolute privilege to be given the opportunity to bring to life a new proposition, and to work with an inspiring team of like-minded people.”

Meanwhile, the firm has promoted head of design Emma Farrow to the role of creative director.

She will be responsible for overseeing the design team and all product categories.

  • What a shame for Caren. She is the brand. No doubt she will start up something else really great.
