Carnaby Street pop up to display award winning emerging designers

Kingly court at Carnaby Street will host a pop up shop for Stephanie Hensley and Zoran Dobric, two winners of the Shaftesbury Award for Emerging Designers, from July 6 to 21.

The award is an initiative from Shaftesbury PLC in collaboration with the London College of Fashion to support up-and-coming designers with a pop-up retail space in London.

Stephanie Hensley, MA graduate of London College of Fashion already has a celebrity clientele including Lady Gaga and Estelle Rubio for her shoe collection.

She said: “Breaking into the fashion industry as an independent designer is very difficult, but I have been lucky to receive support from Shaftesbury PLC, a company striving to aid emerging fashion talent.  I’m very thankful to have been given this award, and believe this will be a springboard to launch my future shoe collections.”

Simon Quayle, director, at Shaftesbury PLC said the company was “delighted” to “nurture new talent”.
