Castore announces new hires as it moves HQ

Premium men’s sportswear brand Castore has taken on 10 more staff as part of its move to a new head office in Liverpool from Chester.

The 2,000 sq ft office at the Tempest Liverpool building in Tithebarn Street will double the floor space allocated to the company’s marketing and design teams, and allow for storage space. Castore plans to hire a further 15 staff in the next 12 months.

Tom Beahon, co-founder of Castore said: “We are really sad to be saying goodbye to Chester, which has given us such a good start, but the move to Liverpool makes sense for the next stage in the company’s growth.

“We are delighted to be moving to a larger office in Liverpool. There is a huge amount of activity in the city at the moment, and a number of ambitious young businesses are making their home there. We are proud to be part of this growing trend”.

Sales of Castore’s men’s sportswear grew to £750,000 in 2017, and it plans to reach £2.7m this year. It also intends to open stores in the UK and overseas. The brand is backed by investors including New Look founder Tom Singh.
