She was appointed non-executive director of luxury goods group Richemont in 2005 and became head of the firm’s fashion and accessories division in 2009, overseeing the redevelopment of six of its high-end fashion brands, including Dunhill, Chloé and Azzedine Alaїa.
Wikstrom is also a founding partner of Atelier Fund, which specialises in the acquisition and development of luxury brands. She currently sits on the boards of Fortnum & Mason, Johnstons of Elgin, The Rug Company and Farrow & Ball. She was previously a non-executive director at Bally International and Space NK.
Private equity group Baring Asia acquired a controlling share in Cath Kidston at the beginning of October, resulting in the departure of the latter’s chairman, Paul Mason.
