Central Saint Martins appoints Fabio Piras to replace Louise Wilson

Central Saint Martins has named Fabio Piras as the successor to MA Fashion Course director Professor Louise Wilson.

Piras had previously worked with Wilson on the course and had been covering the role since Wilson died in May. Piras is a former Central Saint Martins student.

Piras has 20 years’ experience in the industry, including creative and consultancy roles for fashion brands in Europe and China, and showed his own eponymous label during London Fashion Week from 1994 until 2000.

A statement from Central Saint Martins said: “Fabio’s vision will build on Louise’s legacy of creative excellence and will shape a new era for MA Fashion education at CSM.”
