Chalhoub to open accessories and kidswear mega-store in Abu Dhabi

Chalhoub Group is to open a new format 215,000 sq ft concept store called Tryano in Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi in October.

The Middle Eastern luxury partner firm said the store will offer the widest variety of handbags, accessories, kids’ products and beauty products in the United Arab Emirates.

It will also house a new Parisian restaurant concept called Patisserie des Reves, a spa for women and children, and will include concierge services, personal shopping, valet parking and free delivery within the capital.

The store, set over three floors, is being designed by London-based retail architects HMKM.

“We are excited about the opening of Tryano, a new concept store answering once again the demands and expectations of our consumers and filling a gap in the market with choice, width and depth,” said Patrick Chalhoub, co-chief executive of the Chalhoub Group. “Since our inception in 1955, we have put the customer at the centre and therefore we decided to create a retail space highlighting our expertise in different categories focusing on customer service and offering our guests an exceptional retail experience.”

Chalhoub operates standalone franchise boutiques for the likes of Lanvin, Marc Jacobs and Céline, has equity partnerships with Christian Dior, Christian Louboutin, Fendi and Saks Fifth Avenue. It also runs its own multibrand concepts including the 96,000 sq ft Level Shoe District store dedicated to luxury footwear.
