Charles Clinkard opens four new concessions

Footwear retailer Charles Clinkard has opened four new concessions in the run up to Christmas.

Two are located in Bradbeers department stores in both Romsey and New Milton in Hampshire, another is in de Gruchy in Jersey and another is located in Tynward Mills on the Isle of Man.

This brings Charles Clinkard’s total number of concessions up to seven.

The retailer also has 36 standalone stores and its managing director, Charles Clinkard, said he is “looking forward to identifying further opportunities for expansion in the future.”

Sales at Charles Clinkard edged up by 0.8% to  £35.8m in the year to 28 January 2017 despite what it described as a “difficult trading environment”.
