Charles Tyrwhitt eyes online international expansion

Men’s tailoring retailer Charles Tyrwhitt has launched a localised ecommerce site for the Netherlands as part of its international expansion plan.

The site will be swiftly followed by a dedicated site for New Zealand at the end of March. More localised sites will be launched based on sales success in individual markets.

Charles Tyrwhitt currently serves 16 markets in Europe with an English language site. It launched a French language site in September 2017 and has dedicated sites in the UK, US, Australia, Canada and Germany.

The retailer is also considering further local sites in Sweden, Luxembourg and Denmark where the retailer already sees good sales.

The retailer is working with global returns solution ReBound to supports its international expansion. The retailer says it has seen European sales volumes increase by 105% since the partnership began.
