Charlie Mayfield and Sarah Curran honoured by Queen

John Lewis Partnership chairman Charlie Mayfield was awarded a knighthood this weekend in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Mayfield, who was among this year’s recipients of an honour from the Queen, was awarded for his services to business.

Also recognised in the honours list was Sarah Curran, founder of premium etailer Curran was credited for her services to the fashion industry with an MBE.

With London Collections: Men in full swing its founder Dylan Jones, also editor of GQ, was awarded an OBE by the Queen for his services to the publishing and British fashion industry.

Additionally fashion director of The Daily Telegraph Hilary Alexander was given an OBE for her services to fashion journalism.
