Charlotte McHardy is stepping down from her role as UK managing director of Dutch womenswear business Veldhoven Group amid a restructure.
The business is simplifying its portfolio – focusing on core brand Sandwich – and centralising its operations in Amsterdam.
It will retain its showrooms, sales team and retail concessions in the UK and Ireland. McHardy, who leaves on 31 March, will hand over to Andy Thompson, who has been appointed as country manager for the UK and Ireland as part of the restructure.
McHardy joined Veldhoven from German womenswear brand Olsen, where she was at the helm of its UK operations, in 2009.
Veldhoven went on to acquire Olsen in 2013 and sold it to German private equity firm Nord Holding last December.
The group now has three Dutch mid-market womenswear brands: Sandwich, Turnover and Dept. The latter two are not currently available in the UK.
A spokeswoman for Veldhoven said: “Having played a critical role in both the aquistion and successful sale of womenswear brand Olsen in December 2016, Charlotte will be leaving the business to pursue new opportunities.
“We thank Charlotte for the support and commitment she has given to the Veldhoven Group and wish her all the best for the future.”
