Cheap Monday to launch first standalone UK store

Swedish denim brand Cheap Monday is set to open its first UK store in February after making its UK retail debut via a concession in Selfridges in August.

Chief operations officer Håkan Strömsaid the brand has proven that its concept works with its concessions in Selfridges and will now venture onto the UK high street with a standalone store.

The 3552 sq ft store will be located at 39 Carnaby Street and spread over two floors. Inside the store will have an industrial feel with tiled walls and visible pipes and steel beams on the ceiling.

It will showcase the entire Cheap Monday range including womenswear, menswear, denim, babywear, accessories and underwear. It will also include a separate section for the Cheap Monday footwear collection.

Cheap Monday is available in 38 markets in around 1800 stores worldwide including its own standalone stores in Copenhagen and Denmark.
