Chief customer and marketing officer departs from Office

Guy Lister has left his position as chief customer and marketing officer at footwear retailer Office.

Guy Lister

Lister joined Office in the newly created role in 2014. Before that he was managing director of the customer and multichannel divisions of New Look from 2007 to 2013.

Previous employers include River Island, where he was director of marketing, ecommerce and international, and Marks & Spencer.

Drapers understands he handed in his notice shortly after it was announced that Office was being sold to South African fashion retailer Truworths International last November, and has been working out a six-month notice period.

His next move is not yet known.

He will not be directly replaced. Instead, Office will revert back to the structure it had before his role was created, with the ecommerce teams reporting directly into chief executive Brian McCluskey.
