Christian Louboutin launches men's boutique in Selfridges

Luxury footwear label Christian Louboutin has opened a men’s boutique in Selfridges, London.

The 51 m/sq space, which opened last week (July 12), sits within the men’s shoes department on the first floor of the department store and offers a selection from the designer’s shoe collection alongside bags and small leather goods.

The range in store is from the design house’s spring 13 collection and includes the brogue-inspired Golfito and the Louis Spiked high top trainer alongside exclusive styles.

Highlights for autumn 13 include updates on classic styles such as the Rollerboy, which will appear in velvet for the new season, a glittering toe cap on the Bruno Orlato dress shoe and the glitter encrusted Dandy.

The boutique is the second dedicated Men’s retail space for Christian Louboutin within the UK, following the opening of the brand’s debut men’s store on Mayfair’s Dover Street in November

The move comes after the opening of louboutin’s first first standalone boutique in luxury department store Harrods last month.
