Christopher Kane appoints former Stella McCartney VP as chief executive

Kering has appointed ex Stella McCartney vice president Sarah Crook as chief executive of Christopher Kane, effective from November 17.

Crook will report to Marco Bizzarri, chief executive of Kering’s Luxury Couture and Leather Goods division.

She will succeed Alexandre de Brettes, who will move into another yet-to-be-disclosed position within the group.

Previously strategic brand and business consultant to the British Fashion Council, Crook worked at Stella McCartney between 2004 and 2012, first as merchandise and business development director and then as vice president.
