Church's reopens London store

Luxury footwear brand Church's has reopened its Burlington Arcade store in London with a new blueprint shopfit it is expected to roll out across its portfolio.

The new Church's concept at Burlington Arcade was developed by architect Roberto Baciocchi. It features classic styling such as oak tables, leather fittings and alcantara celings.

An international retail expansion plan for Church's is also in the pipeline although the brand would not be drawn on the details of the roll out. The Prada-owned Church's brand has nine stores in the UK and 25 worldwide.

Church's opened stores in Venice and Bologna earlier this year and the brand is expected to push further into the UK and Hong Kong during the remainder of 2008. It has already signed a store in Leeds.

Church's was established in 1873 in Northampton and has been part of the Prada Group since 1999.
