CK footwear manager John Bligh is to rejoin footwear company Padders, taking over from managing director Mike Rowe who has resigned.
Bligh will take up his new role as managing director of Padders’ parent company T. Groocock & Co from February 1, as Rowe departs the family-run company after 25 years.
Rowe is leaving to set up an exporting business specialising in shipping luxury made in Britain products to China.
Bligh was previously product director at Padders from November 1987 to July 1996, when he joined CK as manager of the footwear division.
Graeme Jenkins has also been promoted to sales director at the business, having spent 18 months working on international sales at Padders.
