Claire’s flagship is its biggest UK store

Claire’s, the fashion accessories chain, has opened its largest UK store to date on Oxford Street in London.

The 1,937sq ft flagship, at 488 Oxford Street, features the chain’s new shopfit, which segments its offer according to age to simplify the store layout. Products for 13 to 18-year-olds are at the front of the store, while products for younger shoppers have been moved to the middle and back.

The new shopfit has been implemented in 32 new stores across Europe since the start of the year. The chain is planning a further 35 to 40 openings across Europe before the end of the year.

Claire’s already has a store on Oxford Street, plus a third outlet at the West One shopping centre on Oxford Street. Claire’s president Kenny Wilson said it opened another store so it could offer its full range in a larger-format store.
