Clarks has consolidated its retail and wholesale teams in the UK and Republic of Ireland under operations director Chris Jewell.
There are not thought to have been any redundancies at Clarks as a result of the restructuring of the teams.

Clarks said its multichannel retail, distribution planning, UK and RoI wholesale, UK retail, UK franchise and factory outlet teams would now be managed together to help “optimise distribution and delivery”.
Clarks said the structure reflected its business model in other key international markets.
Clarks International managing director Melissa Potter said: “Despite the very challenging retail conditions of the past 12 months, Clarks has continued to enjoy strong sales in the UK and RoI, further building on its long held position as UK market leader.”

To ensure that we fully and rapidly exploit these opportunities, the responsibility of all distribution channels in the UK and RoI will be consolidated under the leadership of Chris Jewell, as operations director UK and RoI, with immediate effect.”
