Cocosa appoints brand consultant

Off-price luxury goods site Cocosa has appointed former Tatler fashion director Charlie Anderson as fashion and retail brand consultant.

Anderson, who left Tatler in 2008 to become a freelance stylist, has been brought into the newly created position in order to “elevate” Cocosa’s profile “editorially and visually” by streamlining the company’s website.

She said: “Making use of my fashion editorial and styling experience, I hope to enhance Cocosa’s identity and continue it on its path to becoming the one to watch in flash sales.”

Cocosa also reported “strong” sales results for the last quarter (April to June), with sales in April beating its target by 9% and accounting for 33% a first quarter sales.

The average selling price during the period was also up 21% as was average customer spend, which was 7.5% above forecast.
