Designer Pudsey Charity Collection

Will it bear fruit for Children in Need?

It’s Children in Need time again, and this year an even bigger crowd of fashion stars are supporting the charity event by joining the Designer Pudsey Collection. Launched last year, the initiative sees the great and the good of the fashion world create their very own Pudsey bears, giving the iconic charity mascot a fashion make over.

There’s a Prada Pudsey complete with mini spring 11 stacked brogues. London knitwear stars Sibling have knitted up a leopard print version complete with a mini jumper from their autumn 12 collection. The Burberry bear wears a signature Burberry mac and a stunning Giles Deacon teddy is embroidered with £20,000 worth of Swarovski crystals - jazzy! Other designers taking part include Mulberry, Jonathan Saunders, Tom Ford, Versace and Louis Vuitton.

Before the bears are auctioned off at Christie’s they will be on display in Selfridges. Which is your favourite?
