Drapers Awards celebrate another year in fashion retail

This week we gathered the industry’s greatest at London’s Roundhouse in Camden to celebrate the very best of the fashion sector at the annual Drapers Awards.

The year has been challenging, and that looks set to continue as the UK heads out of the European Union in a few short months.

Consumer habits continue to evolve, as new technologies enter the market at an increasingly rapid pace. Tough decisions have been required by industry leaders to survive in today’s market.

Despite this, there is still plenty to celebrate. The talent within this industry is exceptional – the determination and perseverance outstanding.

The market is changing but the high street is by no means dead – and fashion businesses lead the way, merging new technology with creativity to innovate and get shoppers shopping. The fashion industry continues to put customers at its heart and delight them with fantastic product. Everyone on this year’s shortlist should be very proud.

I’d like to thank our judges who made incredibly tough decisions in picking the winners, and all sponsors and supporters, without which this event could not happen. A huge congratulations from me to all of this year’s winners!
