Drapers Follow Friday: Hadley Freeman

In the latest weekly instalment of Drapers’ Follow Friday, news editor Catherine Neilan gives her opinion on who is top in the Twitter stakes.

Hadley Freeman

@HadleyFreeman

She may not be a new name to some, but if like me you crave a bit of Hadley Freeman between columns, her acerbic Twitter account is the one to follow.

Yesterday, for example, she took on the Twitter might of Louise Mensch over the storm in the teacup that was Hilary Mantel calling Kate Middleton “a doll on which rags are hung.”  Last week she waded into the debate about using glamour images of Reeva Steenkamp alongside the story of her death.

But Freeman also takes on the fashion world, for both its lighter low points (adults dressing like children - c/f animal hats) and its more serious low points (Galliano’s recent Hasidic outfit).  You might not always agree with her but you will almost certainly have a chuckle or two.
