Burlington’s socks and Manchester indie Oi Polloi have come up with a novel way to entice customers this Christmas.
As a special promotional project, customers at Oi Polloi are being given the option to select two pairs of men’s Burlington socks, which are then sealed in a Warhol-esque Burlington and Oi Polloi-branded tin can, for no extra cost. The retailer will be dedicating its Christmas window to the launch, with an Andy Warhol installation.
Given the number of men likely to be receiving socks this Christmas (sorry, Dad) we have to say we think it’s a rather novel way of jazzing up a festive purchase.
