Introducing Kenzo and Maison Kitsuné, Pitti's latest guest designers

The January editions will be brightened up by the Japanese and French labels.

Those bright sparks at Florentine trade show Pitti have lined up a stellar set of guest designers to show at their autumn 13 January trade shows, running from January 8 to 11. Currently riding a huge wave of popularity with the cool kids, Kenzo will take up the menswear spot, while Maison Kitsuné will fill the womenswear gap over at Pitti W.

Past guest designers include Valentino, Raf Simons for Jil Sander and last season’s Carven, although we think this is a smart move by Pitti to bring an element of coolness to their shows, typically perceived as an event for an elite crowd of suited and booted gentlemen. Pitti plus Kenzo promises to be an interesting equation. We can’t wait.
