Jacket Required – a round up

Trade show Jacket Required took place this weekend (June 13-14), tempting the large crowd of buyers in attendance with the big names and brands of tomorrow from the cooler end of the menswear market.

Once again it was a case of all killer, no filler with stand after stand of new brands and stellar collections. The show was even graced by American menswear maestro Mark McNairy who manned his footwear stand for the duration of the show - read my recent interview with him.

You will have to wait until Saturday’s edition of the magazine to see my full round up, but I was particularly impressed with the amount of brands debuting  at the show, with the likes of Guild of Labour and William Fox and Sons’ particularly standing out. Elsewhere, brands such as Altamont and personal favourite Soulland also looked strong for the coming season, alongside New York brand Shipley & Halmos, which made its European debut at the show.
