London Fashion Week Day 3: Runway to retail

Drapers fashion director Ian Wright hopes Topshop’s latest collection won’t be Unique to the show.

After a slightly flat spring, Unique was back with a bang, taking a very grown up direction for autumn 13. The textural interplay was interesting as PVC sat alongside fluffy knits, leather, embroidery and sequins. The collection as a whole, assuming much of it makes it to the shop floor, will look good in store, even if the price points will be pretty punchy for the average Toppers punter.
