It seems it’s not just the big global players that understand the importance of offering shoppers a variety of merchandise if Wednesday’s crop of New York Fashion Week designers is anything to go by. It was notable that from Marchesa to Michael Kors, Proenza Schouler to Osklen, clutch bags were the order of the day. The bags came made from a variety of materials, from mirrored metal, transparent plastic, embroidered silk and good old tan leather, showing that no matter what the theme of the collection, a clutch is always a good accessory option.
