You know your branding’s bad when...

…cool kids create a mildly mocking sweatshirt to perfectly capture how the fashion world feels about it.

Back in June when the powers that be at Yves Saint Laurent announced they were changing the name of the label to Saint Laurent all hell broke loose with confusion, consternation and outrage reigning supreme at how such an iconic house could muck around with its identity and branding. The general dislike for how the whole thing went down still rumbles on a whole 8 months later, to the point where some enterprising types have come up with a natty line to put on a sweatshirt and T-shirt so wearers can tell the world how they feel about the YSL debacle. If you fancy one you can preorder now for delivery on March 3rd,  just in time for the Saint Laurent show at Paris Fashion Week the day after, assuming they let you in wearing that. Beats a rant on Twitter any day.

  • There seems to be quite a trend emerging for "mock" designer tshirts!
