Concept Fashion withdraws from sales agency market

Agent Concept Fashion has jettisoned its last client, young fashion brand Ichi, as it looks to double turnover by growing its own Little Mistress Group labels.

Concept Fashion, owned by Little Mistress founder Mark Ashton, started to retreat from the agency market in April when it dropped Danish brand Saint Tropez. Ashton said it would still advise brands on strategy and distribution but no longer act as a sales agent.

The business will represent its own brands Little Mistress (pictured), Paper Dolls and Little Missdress kidswear. It will also launch Little Mistress footwear for autumn 14. “Several key accounts are already lined up due to the success of the brand in the UK,”
