Copenhagen trade shows 'upbeat'

The Copenhagen Fashion Fairs, organiser of Copenhagen trade shows CPH Vision and Terminal-2, has celebrated an “upbeat” trade show season.

The trade shows, which were held on February 3 to 5, reported robust visitor figures with urban and denim show Terminal-2 recording a 5.5% increase on February 2010.

CPH Vision was attended by 12,385 visitors, a slight decrease on the 12,404 visitors who attended in February 2010, while Terminal-2 had 13,752 visitors, up from the 12,966 recorded at the same edition last year. Visitors were mainly from the UK, Benelux, Germany, Italy and Scandinavia.

The shows, which ran over three days compared with four in February 2010, reported that Thursday February 3 and Friday February 4 were key days.

CPH Vision had 145 exhibitors and 221 brands with more than 60% of brands attending from Scandinavian countries. At Terminal-2, 128 exhibitors showed 247 brands.
