Copenhagen womenswear shows shortened to three days

Copenhagen’s womenswear shows will be run over three days rather than four this August; a move the organisers said would “intensify attendance”.

Copenhagen Fashion Fairs, which include streetwear and contemporary exhibition CPH Vision, mainstream show CIFF and directional show Gallery, will run from August 12 to 14.

The fairs are part of Copenhagen Fashion Week, which also includes catwalk shows. Copenhagen Fashion Week as a whole will run as normal for five days from August 11 to 15.

The catwalk shows will take place at Copenhagen City Hall. CPH Vision will take place in Øksnehallen, a building in the old meat district in central Copenhagen, CIFF will take place in Bella Center, which is close to Copenhagen airport and Gallery will be held at the central Forum Copenhagen. A shuttle bus will take visitors between the venues.

The Copenhagen trade shows have also introduced additonal features for this season to benefit exhibitors. The scanning system will be widened this system to allow exhibitors to scan the visitors at their stands and also to order food and additional services through the hand-held devices.
