Craghoppers bags Ugg wholesale boss

Outdoor clothing brand Craghoppers has hired Adam Chesters to be its new UK and Ireland country manager.

Chesters has worked at Deckers for 15 years as the head of UK and Ireland wholesale for the Ugg Australia brand. He is credited with helping to grow the footwear and clothing label into a £60m business, from just £4m.

Chesters previously worked at the Outdoor Leisure Group as head of sales for brands including footwear label Moac.

Craghoppers global commercial director, James McNamara, said: “It is an exciting time for Craghoppers and we firmly believe that Adam will help us push the brand forward.”

  • Great hire! The standards and general service at UGG Australia UK have dropped dramatically since senior management have left the business.
