Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s fashion brand CR7 has begun selling its denim range in the UK and Ireland, after appointing a new agent.
Robert De Keyser is the new agent for its men’s and boys’ denim ranges in the UK, Ireland and Australia.
The spring 18 collections are available to view in De Keyser’s showroom from today, and the autumn 18 collections will be available from 5 February.
Retail prices for the men’s collection range from £49 for shorts to £119 for premium jeans or for a biker jacket. Prices for the “mini-me” boys’ collection range from £29 for a short-sleeved shirt or basic jeans, to £49 for fashion jeans.
CR7 added denim to its wholesale offer last year. Its only European account before this was Zalando.
Meanwhile, Uniti Apparel Group, the global licensee of CR7, will manage the sales and distribution of its jeans globally from now on, having signed a deal with CAA Global Brands Group.
Lindsey Burn, managing director of CR7, said: “The brand is positioned at an accessible price, driven by quality, offering the customer a great price value relationship. We felt there was a gap in the market for a brand positioned right between where the high street pricing ends and well-known brands begin”.
De Keyser added: “It’s the perfect recipe of great fabric, a solid range of washes, competitiive price position and the huge celebrity connection that makes the brand so appealing.”
