Cuplé makes UK debut in Notting Hill

Spanish footwear and handbag retailer Cuplé has made its UK debut in London’s Notting Hill, and is looking for other stores across the capital in locations including Marylebone High Street, King’s Road and Covent Garden.

The retailer, which currently has more than 100 owned and franchise-operated stores worldwide, opened a store at 56 Ledbury Road in Notting Hill yesterday (April 23). It has taken a 10-year lease on the 1,046 sq ft store.

Property agent Savills advised Cuplé on the deal. Peter Flint, an associate in Savills’ central London retail team, said: “This was an ideal location for Cuplé’s first London store, benefiting from a premium nearby retail offer and good footfall from the surrounding residential areas and high visitor numbers to Notting Hill.”
