Customers report Amazon Prime to Advertising Standards Authority

The Advertising Standards Authority has received complaints from Amazon customers that the etailer’s Prime one-day delivery service is not living up to its promise.

Five Amazon Prime customers have contacted the regulator to complain that the “unlimited one-day delivery” is not always fulfilled.

The Advertising Standards Authority said:

“We have received a handful of complaints (five) about Amazon parcel deliveries and we are at the initial assessment stage. We have not yet made a decision on whether the complaints warrant an investigation.”

An Amazon spokesman said the Advertising Standards Authority had confirmed to it there is no investigation at this time.
