Cycling brand Vulpine wheels in administrators

Cycling clothing label Vulpine has appointed RSM partners Matthew Wild and Guy Jackson as its joint administrators.

Last week Vulpine announced it was insolvent. The administrators are attempting to find a buyer.

The London brand, which previously collaborated with Olympian Chris Hoy on a clothing line, was founded in 2012.

It embarked on a crowdfunding campaign through Crowdcube in 2015 and reached £1m in the same year. Last month it unsuccessfully attempted to raise another £750,000.

Wild said: “At present, our principal task is to oversee the sale of the business and assets of Vulpine in order to maximise returns for its creditors. A number of companies have already come forward to express interest.

“Meanwhile we continue to attend to a number of enquiries and are hopeful that we will be able to finalise a sale in short order. Anyone interested in the business or its assets is urged to come forward immediately.”
