Daks signs Borbonese for accessories line

Italian licencing group Borbonese has signed a deal to create and distribute accessories for British heritage label Daks.

Coinciding with Daks’s 120 year anniversary, Borbonese will design, produce and distribute the brands accessories line for men and women in Europe, Russia and the Middle Eastern from January 2014.

Borbonese was founed in Turin in 1910 and has previously created accessories ranges for Moschino and Armani.

Daks has about 250 accounts in Europe and three standalone stores in the UK including its flagship store in London’s Old Bond Street, which was refurbishment and reopened in 2007.

The label also has two stores in Japan, five shops in Hong Kong, twenty-six Chinese outlets, six shops in Taiwan, two in Korea and two in Thailand.
