Hunter’s multichannel director Dan Lumb has left the business after two and a half years to launch his own digital agency.
We Will Be Kings will help fashion and beauty brands in the UK and the US to grow the multichannel side of their businesses profitably. It will launch with two brands, the names of which have not been disclosed, in early 2016.
We Will Be Kings will also work with selected private equity companies in 2016 to invest in a technology platform for future social and digital education apps. Further details have yet to be confirmed.
Lumb joined Hunter in June 2013 and has since been responsible for growing the lifestyle brand’s online sales by 500%. Ecommerce sales have grown from 5% to 23% of total revenue in the same time period.
He has also been credited with driving impressive online growth at Reiss, where he was ecommerce director from August 2011 to May 2013.
Lumb will continue to support Hunter in a digital board advisory role.
