Darling appoints first UK sales agent

Womenswear brand Darling has outsourced its sales for the first time as it looks to grow its stockist base in the north and Scotland.

Darling has appointed sales agent Blustocking to grow its indie, multiples and department store stockists in the north of England and Scotland. Sales for the regions were previously handled in-house.

Blustocking will begin wholesaling the Darling spring 13 collections immediately. Wholesale prices for Darling range from £6 to £42.

Niki Levene, founder of Blustocking, said: “I have admired the Darling brand since its conception and have watched Darling’s steady growth, the Blustocking team are preparing for an exceptionally busy Pure 2012. Our customers are very excited that we are now working with Darling are already making appointments to see the collections at Pure and in our lively Manchester showroom.”

Darling was awarded Drapers’ Womenswear Brand of the Year in November 2011.
