The luxury fashion concept store owned by Rei Kawakubo of Japanese brand Comme de Garçons currently occupies 17-18 Dover Street, owned by Lord Alan Sugar’s property company Amsprop.

The existing store will close at the start of March and the business will move to a 33,000 sq ft store, part of the 36,500 sq ft unit at 18-22 Haymarket - also owned by Amsprop - next month.

The new site is known as the former Burberry headquarters and was vacated by the luxury brand in 2007.

Dover Street Market has not yet responded to Drapers’ request for comment.
