Debenhams chair eyes Moss Bros role

Terry Duddy, the interim chairman at Debenhams, is reportedly in the running to become chair of Moss Bros.

Current Moss Bros chair Debbie Hewitt will step down from her role later this year. Duddy has been shortlisted for the position at the menswear retailer, Sky News reports.

Duddy stepped down as non-executive director at property development and investment company Hammerson in January after taking up the role at Debenhams last month.

He replaced Sir Ian Cheshire, who was voted off the Debenhams board by major shareholders, including Mike Ashley.
