Suzanne Harlow Debenhams
Harlow, who has been group trading director for the firm since 2008 and was appointed to the board in December 2013, received a base salary of £402,492 in 2015, up from £395,788 in 2014- this takes into account her salary for the three months of the 2013 financial year when she was not a board member. Harlow’s total pay including benefits for the year 2015 was £545,030.
Sharp’s base salary edged up just 0.6% to £618,844 from £615,000 in 2014. Sharp’s total salary including benefits totalled £985,867 for the year.
Harlow joined Debenhams in 1994 and has previously worked as trading director for womenswear, lingerie and beauty, as well as buying and merchandising director across several divisions. When Sharp announced he was going to leave Debenhams in 2016 after five years at the helm, Harlow was mooted as one of the front runners to take the top job.
