Debenhams has introduced Studio by Preen to its Designers at Debenhams stable for spring 17, building on the Preen/Edition collection that has been stocked by the department store since 2011.
The /Edition range aims to introduce new and emerging talent to the Debenhams customer, while Designers at Debenhams features more established, household names.
Sara Stern, trading director for women’s, kids and beauty, explained: “We have seen increased appetite for the use of distinct fabric prints and detailing as well as more structured shapes, which the brand is noted for.”
The 48-piece spring 17 collection, designed by the company’s Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi, includes a striped wrap dress, frilled and gingham-checked trench coat, and a blouson bodysuit. Prices start at £40.
Thornton added: “Studio By Preen is a rounded collection of contemporary chic utility wardrobe essentials. Our signature print and shapes run throughout.
“This move into the Designers at Debenhams stable enables us to offer a wider selection of garments, to tell a fuller trend story and truly create a high street offer that is inspired by the Preen collections.”
The collection will be launched in 30 Debenhams UK stores and three international markets later this month.
