Debenhams’ director of merchandising, Adele Calderwood, has left the business after 14 years, Drapers understands.
Several sources told Drapers that Calderwood has exited the retailer. However, Debenhams declined to comment.
She joined Debenhams in 2004 from Arcadia Group, where she held the role of senior merchandiser. At Debenhams, Calderwood worked as merchandise manager before being promoted to head of merchandising in 2006, a position she held until 2013 when she was made director of merchandising.
In September, Debenhams’ merchandising manager for men’s accessories, Kate Ludlow-Edson, moved to Topman after 13 years at the department store chain.
