Debenhams to offer free parking

Debenhams is offering up to two hours of free parking for its customers to encourage them to do their Christmas shopping next week, Drapers can reveal.

From 3 to 9 December, shoppers across the UK and Ireland spending more than £50 or €50 with the department store will be reimbursed the cost of their parking upon proof of their parking ticket.

Debenhams launched a “pay day spectacular” today, offering up to 50% off products.

  • It may come across as a 'nice' gesture, but Debenhams have stores in Town and Cities that are anything but car friendly, so consumers stop listing full stop.

  • Too little too late. Ran by out of date management and CEO’s who never took millennials seriously and now they’re paying the price.
