Decathlon opens Croydon store

Sportswear retailer Decathlon has opened in Croydon, its first new opening in London for 15 years.

The Croydon store, located at Trafalgar Way Retail Park, was unveiled on Wednesday night with Olympic bronze medallist Steve Parry cutting the ribbon alongside the shop’s store manager Manel Ramoul and UK chief executive Thibaut Peeters.

The opening comes hot on the heels of Decathlon’s Harlow store launch, which took place just one week ago.

The retailer now has 16 stores across the UK.
